Vape pens are the smallest type of vapes. They are small and similar in size to a traditional cigarette. There are two variations of the pen vape available. One uses a cartomizer, while the other users a clearomizer.
A cartomizer contains both the liquid and the atomizer. With a cartomizer, you have to replace the entire piece of the vape whenever the atomizer stops working. The atomizer is essentially the part that heats the liquid and turns it into vapor.
With a clearomizer, the atomizer and liquid sections of the device are two distinct pieces. As such, you only have to replace the atomizer section when it wears out, rather than the entire piece.
Mechanical mods are smaller than box mods. They are circular in shape and can be as big as a cigar. Mechanical Mods typically run on one or two 18650 batteries. A mechanical mod is run solely on the battery you use inside, meaning there are no “Chips” or electronics involved. These are mainly used by the “Enthusiasts” or at competitions. Since there are no chips, you are able to run the highest power to your RDA, and blow the biggest clouds.
For those new to vaping, these vape kits contain everything you need to get started. A typical kit includes the vaping device, vaping liquid cartridges of vaping liquid, and accessories, like a USB cord and charger to recharge the batteries in rechargeable vapes.
If you are not entirely sure which vaping device would be best, consider starting with a pen/Starter kit. You can always upgrade to a different style of device later, as your needs change or you want to try out other devices.
